If you were to climb one of Pemberton’s famous Karri trees to survey the area, you would see national parks, creeks and rivers, hills, wetlands, waterfalls, and more than 50 vineyards.
However, we don’t recommend climbing a Karri tree as they are one of the tallest tree species in the world.
Instead, we would advise you to save your energy to visit the region’s cellar doors to partake in chardonnay, pinot noir and merlot.
It’s all the makings of a great getaway – four hours south of Perth and 1.5 hours’ drive south east of Margaret River. Cool climate wines, country charm and gourmet local produce for the win.
